Ms. Independent.
It is a difficult day when your baby decides she is independent and no longer needs the help of her mom and dad. That day too however, can be also a very funny one. Last night I was on the phone while cooking dinner, Erik too was on the phone so poor Avery couldn't get anyone's attention. So when she had to go potty, she took it upon herself. After I hung up the phone, I was searching everywhere for Avery only to find her sitting on the potty in the dark. I turned on the light and she said "I go pee pee." Well that was certainly true however, she peed while trying to hoist herself onto the potty. She eventually got up there but not quick enough I guess. There was a puddle of pee right next to the potty and on the rug. Bless her heart for trying she is such a smart girl and thinks she can do it all on her own. Oh how I love her!

That is good she is at least attempting to go by herself! Makenna still informs me when she has to go and she has been potty trained for YEARS! :) Go Avery!
What a sweetie! Kaden still does that sometimes, but it is so cute how they try so hard and then they get this look on their face like, am I in trouble?? I never scold him for having accidents, but sometimes he acts like it. :) What a big girl tho, way to go mommy!
oh how cute! she is growing up so fast! i can't believe it! except mine are freakin still 5 years older than her.. that's sad. she's still little so enjoy these toddler years. they fly by :)
At least she is trying all by herself. I am sure it is better than cleaning up wet floor and underware.
Gotta love it, I should start my little Jaz, but she doesn't want anything to do with the big potty, I might as well wait, don't want to freak her out, so she won't do it at all...
