Okay hardly, but this is the quilt I've been working on for Avery's "big girl bed." That time is still a ways away but that's why I started now, so there would be tons of time for errors. I'm going to add a large border to it and I think I've decided not to have it quilted together. Instead, I think I will make it into a duvet cover. What do you think? Would that be lame or should I have it quilted? I love down comforters and I think it would be cute with the puffy down underneath. Need your input so feel free to lay it on me, even it is brutal honesty ;)

I love it! I think either way you do it, it will be super cute. Is there anything you can't do?
I agree with Kati, either way would be way cute! Someday this is going to be me when I decide to redo Rylee's bedding, but that is a LONG time away for me! Good luck I can't wait to see the finished product!
darling. The only problem I see with duvet is that it is harder to wash than a regular quilt. And little childrens are certain to have accidents regularly.
Or maybe that is just mine. :)
Oh I LOVE it!!!!! I would make it soft and puffy. I love the colors, and it will be awesome no matter what.
So stinkin Cute! I made a duvet for Samantha, Super hard to wash but was so soft & look awesome! Love the colors you chose! Same ones I did!
Ok, I don't know a thing about quilting or any of that crafty sewing type stuff. But let me just say it is DARLING!!!
if it was me i would go with the cover, you just don't put it on them at night, make sure they sleep with something you can wash regularly and not get ruined! CUTE! Come make us one now!
Oh my gosh it is so cute Savannah. I love it! Either way you go, you can't go wrong. It will be something she always treasures.
You're so talented! I'm so impressed! I think it will be gorgeous either way you decide to do it. Hope you guys are doing well!

That is very cute. I think you should quilt it. You can always add a down blanket underneath it to make it fluffy. I just think it will look more finished if it is quilted.
It is way cute Savannah!!...Im partial to Quilting since I own a long arm Quilting Machine...but it will be darling either way!!
I would totally quilt it. I love puffy duvet covers but everyone else is right about problems washing it with accidents all the time.....plus you are in Vegas and it is hot, plus a quilt you can fit tightly into a bed and make it look so polished and perfect where as Ava's duvet cover shifts a lot and sometimes is a pain in the butt! But, I do love the whole puffy cute thing so whatever you go with would work great and be way cute....just my opinion! I love the colors....that must have taken you a while! I am currently looking for little boy quilts for Brec.....so hard to find decent priced cute ones!
