"Hi puppy!"
Yesterday while Aves and I were playing in the backyard, I could hear a dog collar chiming and a little whine from the other side of the fence. Out of the corner of my eye, there it was, a little puppy nose and puppy paws making it's way underneath the fence. I called for Avery to come and see the puppy. Of course she came running to see the puppy who was trying to dig his way into our yard. She knelt down and rubbed his nose and paws all while repeating over and over, "hi puppy!" This shocked me because that was actually the first time she said puppy correctly. It's usually putty. It's kind of sad when she starts saying things correctly. It shouldn't be but it is. The dog would leave and she would just sit there and wait for him to return. Our backyard is pretty boring and at this point we can't afford a play set for her. Those are just too spendy for a full time student and a stay at home mom. Does anyone have any good ideas for back yard toys? Once it cools off, we'll be out there quite a bit.

I was afraid that I was going to see that you bought a puppy and would have told you that you were crazy! Even though they are so adorable and kids love them, they are so hard to take care especially when you have itty bitty's! Anyways, glad Avery found entertainment...I have found a lot of kid toys (slides and outdoor playsets) at garage sales for way cheap.....go out and garage sale when it gets cooler! Seriously! I still wish we had a big playset....I have yet to find one of those! Good luck!
I told Josh just the other day that I will be sad when Jantzen pronounces words the right way. I don't want my kids to grow up. Anyway, if I see any fun toys I'll let you know. We just have a trampoline which boys have a ton of fun on, and the pool in the summer.
CUTE! I totally know what you mean, so cute and so sad too. I go for sidewalk chalk and bubbles to entertain my kids.
Thats so cute. My little Gavin likes to play with our cat until the cat will playfully nibble his hand and then he just runs away laughing. Kids love animals! Hope everything is going well for you guys.
How cute. You could always get her a puppy, that would keep her busy in the backyard haha..
Look at her so big. She has her hair in such good pigtails. She is so cute.
You ever tried to look on craigslist, or go garage selling, people are always selling their toys, and sometimes you can get almost new or new for really cheap.
