Any suggestions?
I'm loving reading books these days. I just finished one call Midwives. It was a little peculiar. A guy wrote in the perspective of a fourteen year old girl and I found that a little odd and because it was about midwives, it had a lot of vag talk and I mean it used the proper terms for our girlie parts. What kind of a guy??? Anywho, now that I'm finished, I need another. I like to read books that others suggest because I'm too afraid I'm gonna get one that stinks. I've already got a church book that I'm reading so I don't need one of those yet so does anyone have a good read for me?

I am currently reading "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" I would suggest reading it. And "The Secret Life of Bees" That was a decent read as well!
Also, Brent needs to talk to you (since you live in Vegas) about something with work. I don't have your number so if you can e-mail it to me at lyndsimartin at gmail dot com that would be great. Or you can e-mail him at brent at blmcompanies dot com . They are looking for a cleaning lady down there and was wondering if you had any suggestions! Thanks Savannah!
We will get to town late Wednesday night next week. I am so excited to see you guys. What is your schedule like next week? Is it Erik's spring break as well?
I will be checking back on people's response to this one about books. I need some good reads as well.
Ben MADE me read 'The 3 Deceivers' & I like it.
Well this is a church fiction book, but it's really good, it's the Ariana Trilogy by Rachel Nunes. I really liked it.
If you like a good mystery I have found this awesome series. It is called the Aunt Dimity series by Nancy Atherton. Basically the main character helps solve mysteries by talking to a deceased beloved friend of her mother's through a journal. She talks to the journal and the deceased Aunt Dimity answers. I thought at first it might be weird but it was SO good! Go check it out!
My sister had me read the book "Uglies" that's the first book of the Trilogy there are 4 book in all. I thought they were pretty good and very easy to read. Now I'm reading the series "The Great and Terrible" they are so good, they're church books but fiction. I think there are 6 books in all and I'm on the 3rd one and I'm loving them.
Hey- (no reading for me!) BUT I did get your comment... Tues sounds great! or any day to pretty much... u have my email?? it's kinna910 at yahoo dot com. I'll have to get your # from there! I'll send you mine as well! ;)
Blake and I both really liked the series Fablehaven. It is a youth book so it is an easy read but I highly recommend it. There are three of them in the series so that should keep you entertained for a couple of days.
The most recent books I've read that I highly recommend are Fablehaven, Total Money Makeover, and The Chronicles of Narnia. All very good. And you might like Glenn Beck's book 'An Inconvenient Book'.
What is your email? And do you have Becky's email?
Janey, Mine is savannahfoisy@hotmail.com. I tried to get on your blog and discovered it was private. Add me, I love seeing what you're up to!
I have something called a goodreads account. My mom and sisters started putting all their books on it and that is where I go for recommendations. Go to goodreads.com and search my name- you can see the list of books I've read and the rating I gave them. (I think it may be under Corinne, not Cori...or maybe my email- corinnehench@hotmail.com).
