Lets just see!
Thankfully, the time has come and the election is over. I am not surprised by the outcome. Rather, i am saddened by the changes our country has made and will continue to make. We are becoming a country that believes that consequences shall not be paid, allowing abortion for those that cannot understand that when you get pregnant, the choice has already been made. We are becoming a socialist country which will punish the successful and hand out to less ambitious. Yesterday, the people spoke, but I believe they acted out of emotion rather than understanding and comprehension. Did they truly understand Obama's tax policies? Did they really understand the cost for his desire to get all American's health insurance? Doing that will hurt small business and punish those who have worked hard to achieve what they have achieved. All I can say at this point is that, I respect the office and who ever holds it, but I do believe people will be surprised when they realize they should have done their homework and voted on the policies rather than persuation and emotion. Let's just see what he does with our country and hopefully, after the four year term, Romney will run again!

Ssvannah! SO I have to ask you- do you live in Firenze? If so, we used to live there, I just swear to you your apt looks exactly like our old apt in Vegas. Also, we live in Houston now, so dang, we just missed each other by a year. Your little girl is just beautiful and I love seeing pictures of her. It is also fun to catch up with you and your husband- Bryan thinks he is just the funniest guy ever. Hope you guys are doing well and I'm really excited about your new house.

It's scary, very scary and all I can do is have faith and know that ultimately God is the ruler of this world and has a plan... this most likely had to happen to prepare for Christ's return to earth, as promised.... it's just scary that we have to live it and that our children will NEVER have a childhood like we did, or like their grandparents did. We are looking at a very very hard future, but as prophets have promised us... if we are prepared and following God's plan we will be blessed. Still it is so hard to comprehend.
Democrats aren' all bad (i am one!) but seriously James E. Faust was a very prominant democrat.
Obama isn't just any Democrat. I also doubt Faust is a leftist Democrat like Obama, Biden, and Pelosi. When the people choose so far left, usually and hopefully, it will swing far to the right next election. It happened from Carter to Reagan. I will take Romney, Palin, or Jindal, or please anyone with strong Conservative and Capitalist values. Obama sort of centered his views for the campaign and people bought it. The amount of people who support him scare me more than Obama himself. Time will tell when he swings back to the far left. I think in the long wrong it will be good, not by supporting Obama, but it will give the people a wake up call or allow certain things to come to pass in the last days. I just hope he doesn't wait 4 years before he shows his true colors. And a lot of Conservative amendments passed this election, that's a good thing too. Sorry bout the long comment...I need to write a post.....

I love these comments. SueAnne, I find Janey's comment to be extremely true! Faust, may have been a democrat but I doubt he supports partial birth abortion, which is puncturing the baby's head as it comes out! Plus, I don't think he supports gay marriage either. Those are the principles that democrats believe. Thus, they believe more government control rather than the people having more control. When government controls things, it becomes more like a dictatorship, and socialism is not a good thing. It punishes people for working hard and gives hand outs to those who are willing to put in the effort. We deserve to keep what is ours and what we've worked for! You know I love you still!
I am lovin' that you are so into politics! I am afraid of this "change" he proposes! And looking at all the comments here I am truly terrified for our kids! You know you just want the best for our children and for things to be easy, but life will be hard and is hard!
I totally agree....thank you for voicing that! I truly know we can't just solve our problems with giving everyone health insurance, and it practically pisses me off, when I have insurance, pay 200$ month for it, am still paying on Berkely's hospital bills, but many people get to have their babies for FREE because they have no job, no insurance, nothing, but WELFARE and government funded programs
