Breaking Konner's habit!
Konner is inching his way up to four months old! I can't even believe I'm saying that. The time with that kid is just flying by. It really breaks my heart because I love the baby phase and even though each new stage is wonderful in its own way, I always miss the previous one. He is sweeter than sweet can be. He is still my little snuggler. He loves to be held and he definitely loves his mommy. If he sees that I am not the one holding him, he has a response, which is a small little coo that just sounds sad. :( He is beginning to laugh and without me provoking it. :) He has attempted to roll over but for the past few days, he hasn't been too interested. He hates tummy time, but so did Avery. He smiles all the time and I don't have to do much to get him going. However, I have yet to catch that cute smile on camera. He's just too fascinated by the camera. He sleeps like a champ, which is why I'm writing this post. He still likes to be swaddled! However, it's causing a bit of a problem. I have one of those Velcro swaddling blankets and they are life saver when a baby is a new born but now, he wiggles himself out all while undoing the blanket. He gets his arms free and then he gets upset. We need to be done! Obviously it is a comfort to him. Avery was simple. She hated being swaddled from day one so no issues. Today, I have spent my day trying to train him. With each nap, I haven't been putting his arms in the blanket, just the lower body. It hasn't gone well. He sleeps for a short period of time then wakes up ticked off! Tonight will be the first night I send him to bed un swaddled. I'm scared. He has been a great sleeper and sleeps through the night, unless he wiggles free, but tonight, I fear I will be up a lot. The only advice I have for myself is to keep at it until he no longer feels like he needs to be swaddled. It feels like I 'm quitting smoking or something. I just want to give in! Any other advice?

I swaddled Alex until he was 4 months as well. And what saved me is that I put him straight to the tummy. But I always did naps on the tummy and night on back swaddled anyways so it wasn't really new to him. But he slept great on his tummy and he was old enough and strong enough to do it. But that's what I would try. Plus sleeping him on his tummy he will be rolling in no time! Good luck!
Awww....He is so cute Savannah...We need to get together again real soon. We should plan a play date to run plus fun...It's over here in Henderson but it's so cute and clean and Aiden loves it.
